In conjunction with the Indie game project by the group RubyShark, I created a material generator in substance designer to facilitate a smoother pipeline of texturing modular models and props for the game project.
The original plan was to entirely hand paint all of the models in designer, but we decided that it would prove more efficient to create a stylized material generator, and later add unique hand painted details on top.
As of 6/28/2021, I successfully finalized the substance painter material generator using differing methods learned from multiple tutorials. I created several color variations of the generator, and used them to texture the first set of models. I then went through and added hand painted details on top of each of those models.
